A blue sky turning pink and gold. The most magical hour, and the most demanding: everything happens within a few minutes.
You wake up before the sun. Outside it is cold, the sky is still blue and quiet.
And suddenly it fills. Dozens of balloons rise slowly over the valleys, and there you stand, just the two of you, in a landscape like no other.
This is the moment we came here to keep.
Why Cappadocia
A landscape that looks like a dream, but is real
Rocks carved by wind and water, houses dug into the stone, valleys that change colour through the day. Cappadocia needs no set. It is the set.
For a couple this means freedom. We do not stage poses in front of a backdrop. We walk together, let you live the morning, and photograph whatever happens between you.
It is the perfect place for an after-wedding session a few days after the wedding, for a pre-wedding shoot before the big day, or for an elopement just for the two of you.

In Cappadocia the light changes fast, and it changes everything. That is why we build the session around the time of day, not around the place.

Clear light, deep shadows, the texture of the stone. Ideal for walking, for black-and-white images and for quieter moments.

Golden hour
The sun sinks and the rocks take on the colour of honey. Warm, soft light, full of emotion.

Before you travel
Seasons, timing and what to wear
When to come
Spring and autumn have mild temperatures and soft light. In summer the days are long but midday is harsh, so we shoot early and late. In winter, if it snows, Cappadocia turns white and silent, a rare setting.
The time that matters
For the balloons we start before sunrise. Flights only take place when the weather allows, so we suggest keeping two mornings free. If the first one does not go as planned, there is the second.
Styling
Light, flowing fabrics move beautifully in the wind and stand out against the earthy tones of the stone. White, ivory, cream and deep colours such as burgundy or emerald work very well. Mornings are cold: a coat or a blanket becomes part of the image. For the valleys, bring comfortable shoes and we change before each frame.

Frequently asked questions
How many days does a photo session in Cappadocia need?
We suggest two mornings. The balloons only fly when the weather allows, so the second morning is your safety net. In between there is plenty of time for a golden hour session.
Which season is best?
Spring and autumn: mild temperatures, clear skies and soft light. In summer midday is harsh, while in winter the snow gives a completely different, quiet setting.
Do you travel from Greece for the shoot?
Yes. We travel with you or meet you there. Travel and accommodation costs are discussed from the start, so you know the full amount before you book.
Can we also have a film?

How early should we book?
The earlier the better, especially for the most popular seasons. Tell us your dates and we will let you know our availability.
