Paros

Wedding and couple photography among white lanes and blue water

Fishing boats moored in the little harbour, a Venetian castle half sunk in the water, and white lanes climbing up from the sea.

Paros is the Cyclades with a smile. Lively but relaxed, elegant but simple.

This is the moment we came here to keep.

Why Paros

The balanced side of the Cyclades

White villages with blue windows, mountain paths, beaches with granite rocks and chapels on every corner. An island that has a little of everything.

For a couple this means variety without stress: short distances, many settings and always somewhere quiet.

It is the perfect setting for your wedding, for an after-wedding session a few days later, for a pre-wedding shoot before the big day, or for an elopement just for the two of you.

The light

Three moments of the day, three different stories

In Paros the light is clear and bright. Mornings in the lanes are cool; in the afternoon the sun sets over the sea.

Morning

The lanes

White walls, blue doors, bougainvillea and quiet.

Afternoon

The rocks

Low sun on the granite and turquoise water.

Sunset

The harbour

Naoussa in golden light, the caiques and the first lights.

The places

Where we photograph

We plan the route together, depending on the light, the wind and the schedule of the day.

  • NaoussaThe little harbour with the caiques and the Venetian castle.
  • ParikiaThe lanes, the Kastro and the Panagia Ekatontapyliani.
  • LefkesA mountain village with cobbled paths and views to the sea.
  • KolymbithresGranite rocks in strange shapes out in the water.
  • The chapelsWhite domes scattered across the landscape.

Before you come

Seasons, timing and what to wear

When to come

From May to October. June and September have warm water and fewer people. In July and August the meltemi often blows and Naoussa gets busy, so we shoot early and late.

The time that matters

We photograph the lanes early. We keep the afternoon for the rocks and the sunset for Naoussa or a quiet chapel.

Styling

White, ivory and soft pastels suit the island, while a bold colour stands out against the blue. Light, flowing fabrics move beautifully in the wind. For the rocks, comfortable shoes.

The experience with us

We know where the island is quiet

We have photographed couples here. We know which lanes empty first, where it is less windy when the meltemi blows and where the sunset looks its best. So you live your day, and we take care of the rest.

  1. Before the tripWe talk about dates, styling and the kind of images that move you. We plan the route together.
  2. Morning in the lanesWe start in the quiet alleys, before the island wakes up.
  3. The rocksSea, granite, a few gentle directions. We do not stage poses; we let you be together.
  4. A breakA swim, a meal, rest while the sun is high.
  5. Sunset in NaoussaThe harbour in golden light, the most tender part of the day.

Frequently asked questions

Can we combine Paros and Antiparos?

Yes. Antiparos is a few minutes away by boat and gives even quieter, more natural images.

What if it is windy?

In summer the meltemi often blows. We know sheltered spots, and light fabrics moving in the wind often give the most beautiful images.

Can you also photograph our wedding there?

Yes. We cover every wedding exclusively with a double team: four professionals, not two professionals and two assistants. Your couple session can take place on the day itself or a few days later, as an after-wedding shoot.

How do travel expenses work?

We are based in Patra and travel all over Greece, to the mainland and the islands. Travel and accommodation costs are discussed from the start, so you know the full amount before you book.

Can we also have a film?

Yes, the photography can be combined with a wedding film. See examples on our Films page.

How early should we book?

The earlier the better, especially for the summer months. Tell us your dates and we will let you know our availability.
