Why Spetses
Grandeur, sea and history
Captains' houses with pebble-mosaic courtyards, boatyards with wooden caiques, pine forests running down to the sea. Private cars are not allowed in the town centre, and that changes the rhythm.
For a couple this means calm and elegance: a carriage ride, a lane with bougainvillea, a sunset at the Old Harbour.
It is the perfect setting for your wedding, for an after-wedding session a few days later, for a pre-wedding shoot before the big day, or for an elopement just for the two of you.

Before you come
Seasons, timing and what to wear
When to come
From April to October. May, June and September have warm water and a quiet island. In July and August the island is busy, so we shoot early and late.
The time that matters
We photograph the lanes early. We keep the afternoon and sunset for the Old Harbour and the lighthouse.
Styling
Spetses loves elegance: linen, satin, a well-tailored suit. White, ivory and the blue of the sea suit the island. For the pebbles, comfortable shoes for moving around.

Frequently asked questions
How do we get around the island?
Private cars are not allowed in the town centre. We move by taxi, water taxi, carriage or on foot, and we include all of this in the plan for the day.
Can we come by car?
You leave the car at Kosta, on the Peloponnese coast opposite, and cross by boat in a few minutes.
Can you also photograph our wedding there?
Yes. We cover every wedding exclusively with a double team: four professionals, not two professionals and two assistants. Your couple session can take place on the day itself or a few days later, as an after-wedding shoot.
How do travel expenses work?
We are based in Patra and travel all over Greece, to the mainland and the islands. Travel and accommodation costs are discussed from the start, so you know the full amount before you book.
Can we also have a film?
Yes, the photography can be combined with a wedding film. See examples on our Films page.
How early should we book?
The earlier the better, especially for the summer months. Tell us your dates and we will let you know our availability.
